A Mountain Thanksgiving

The Blount's Have So Much To Be Thankful For...

Andrew and I spent our first married Thanksgiving in the mountains.
We were able to RELAX which we don't get to do a whole lot of at home as we stay pretty busy. We enjoyed family time, lots of yummy food, naps, and of course the gorgeous North Carolina scenery. We just missed the fall leaves but it was still a pretty sight to see.

My Parents house is on this mountain.

We visited one of my favorite spots at Lake Junaluska. You can see this from my parents porch.

We got to wake up to this everyday...

We ate Thanksgiving Dinner at Carol and Daves. It takes about 30 minutes on a tiny winding road to make it up the mountian to their house...but it is worth the view!

The boys built a shelf in the garage...

and we did a little shopping and playing too...

And of course we watched BAMA whip Auburn!!!

ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!

It was a rainy all day drive home... we took our time browsing Antique Malls and Bass Pro Shop and enjoyed a DELICIOUS late lunch at PF Changs. We made it back in town just in time to watch Bama bball vs VCU. It was a nail biter but another TIDE victory! We were worn out by the time we finally made it home. We are switching gears to one of my favorite seasons of all...CHRISTMAS! Stay tuned for the month of December...
